Construction of Water Tanks: Southern Water Sandown Water Treatment Works

In 2007 Emerald Construction purchased a formwork and soffit system from Faresin. Being the first and only one on the Island to have their own system we can now offer a cost effective, faster formwork system to use on various projects.

This picture shows our formwork system being used at Sandown Water works. These walls being poured are 5m high and are 400mm thick. Strong enough to hold the weight of the water inside these tanks.

The Soffit system being put into newly formed tanks to support reinforced concrete cover slab.

This system is very versatile and can be seen in background of picture forming columns to support reinforced concrete lamella tanks.
